The exhibition is to support the preservation of traditional
glass painting technique that is found in the village
Nagasepaha in Singaraja province, north of Bali. 2
June-21 June A painting exhibition “Terus Terang
Terang Terus“ of artworks by former and present
students of local High School of Arts (SMSR) in Ubud.
In cooperation with Ratna Wartha Foundation and Museum
Puri Lukisan to supporting the young local people
to appreciate Balinese art and the revival of historical
school (SMSR) in Ubud, which was founded by the late
Tjokorda Gde Agung Sukawati. |

This
time Kebiar Seni exhibition “Bibit”, which is
part of an annual program in the Museum, presents Balinese
traditional art as opportunity for young Balinese artists.
Our aim is to search for new talents (‘benih’
or ‘bibit’) to preserving and continuing the
development in history of traditional paintings since the
Pita Maha period, the 1930s. |

artists association Sanggar Pelangi is showing their art
through an exhibition “Pelangi” from Sayan area,
some 4 km of Ubud. Their style is a continuation from the
Young Artist Style, which was founded by the Dutch painter
Arie Smit in the 1960’s. |
